ROGUE HERRIES
NEWS

At the conclusion of their worldwide sell-out stadium tour throughout 2012 and 2013, Rogue Herries overtook Coldplay as the world’s most successful band. Their performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony attracted a global television, radio and online audience in excess of 4 billion. Now the Herries have decided that you, their adoring followers, should get to hear the songs they love the most. A compilation album has been chosen by the band members’ and each track represents an emotional or spiritual awakening for them.
Nick’s three tracks reflect his satisfaction at the completion of his gender realignment.
Chris’s are testament to his continued efforts to free his wife from Guantanamo Bay.
Dick’s music was chosen at random, after persuading his dog to bark at photographs of the performers it least wanted to tear to pieces.
Tom’s three heartbreaking songs are a lament to a lost love; believed by the other members to be Liberace.
James’s selection is a celebration of his love for bog snorkelling, cross dressing and projectile vomiting.
We asked each of the guys to comment on their choices:
Nick; “I don’t bloody know. They just said choose some tunes and we’ll slap them on an album that will sell in its millions”
Chris; “I hate Gauntlett, he’s such a git”
Dick; “Huh?”
Tom; “I am reminded of an episode of Only Fools in which….hold on, that’s the ‘phone”
James; “I only got these trousers on Friday and now there’s a big streak of chip fat on the knee”
So there you have it. Insightful, emotional and at times astonishing in its breadth and vigour, Rogue Herries’ - Greatest Hits
Whatever you take from their music, one thing is sure; you’ll hate most of it but the band will be able to go on massive, expensive holidays with first class air travel and all inclusive dining options. Yummy.
